- Select products from renowned Japanese blacksmiths and brands (Global, Hasegawa, Hayabusa)
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour or finish may occur due to photographic lighting or your monitor settings.
3. Orders and Payment Terms
Order Process
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This email is not an acceptance of your order but confirmation that we have received it. Our acceptance of your order occurs when we dispatch the products to you.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept the following payment methods:

Payment is deducted when your order is placed. If your payment cannot be processed, your order will not be fulfilled.
Shipping
We ship globally, excluding some remote areas and parts of Asia. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing before dispatch.
We offer two shipping options:
- Standard Shipping: £12.95 via DHL or FedEx (10-15 business days after dispatch)
- Free Shipping: For orders over £50 via EMS (15-25 business days after dispatch)
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including customs processing.
4. Returns and Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Most items can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receipt, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Items must be unused, unsharpened, and in original condition
- Original packaging must be intact, including all boxes, sheaths, or cases
- Original proof of purchase must be provided
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- CERAMIC WATER SHARPENERS (due to potential wear on ceramic wheels)
- Forks and other dining utensils
- Any product where the original packaging seal is broken
Return Process
To initiate a return or exchange:
- Contact our customer support at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order to request a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number
- Include your full name, order number, item(s) for return, and reason for return
- Once you receive the RMA number and instructions, securely package the item(s) in original packaging and ship to the provided address
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error
Refunds
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect returned items. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different model or size, follow the return process. After we process the return, you will be refunded and can place a new order for the desired item.
