Yoshida Hamono Co. traces its business back to the field blacksmiths of Kyushu Island of Japan. These local craftsmen were involved in manufacturing and repairing all kinds of different metal tools for agriculture, fishing, and cooking. Yoshida Hamono works to preserve many of the manufacturing techniques handed down from generation to generation.
The Ginsan Santoku Knife is perfect for Vegetables, Meat and various Jobs around the kitchen and is perfect for the cook looking for a carbon steel blade without the same level of maintenance. Ginsan, or Silver 3 Steel, was created to cut and sharpen like a pure carbon steel while in fact being a stainless steel due to the added chromium making the knife resistant to rusting.
